MS Azure Infrastructure as Code Engineer

Risen One Consulting is currently seeking a talented MS Azure Infrastructure as Code Engineer to pave the way for one of our government clients toward a state-of-the-art digital transformation process that focuses on hybrid cloud technologies using the Microsoft Azure Cloud.

 

AZ 900 Certification is a must.

 

Technical Requirements

 

  • AZ – 900

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Azure

  • Strong background in IT infrastructure fundamentals, including networking, storage, and security

  • Experience with Azure Services, including Machine Learning, Analytics, Databases, Azure Identity and Security Services (Active Directory, Domain Services, Defender, Key Vault, Sentinel, Security Center), Management and Governance (Landing Zone, Automation, Cost, Policy, Compliance), Migration Services, Networking (including Express Route, DNS, Network Watcher, and Load Balancers), and Development (including Azure DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Azure Functions for serverless solutions

  • Design and Deploy Cloud services in a high-performance production environment

  • Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps environments

  • Create scripts and templates for automatic provisioning of resources

  • Produce Azure Resource Templates, Policies and Governance Plans

  • Recommend proposed security and patch updates as they become available

  • Day-to-day activities related to managing and maintaining compute resources within Azure Tennant

  • Deploy web and service-based applications in Windows/Linux environments per mandated by the Government

  • Create development and testing environments from on-premises to cloud-based

  • Deploy highly available, scalable, and secure applications within Azure tenant

  • Provide a working model of Azure Resource Manager

  • Automate manual tasks using PowerShell scripts

  • Experience working on projects that implement analytic models into production systems

  • Worked on or implemented a Cloud migration project a plus

  • Experience creating documentation and diagrams
