FOREST SERVICE- INCIDENT BUSINESS SYSTEM

The Story

Risen One Consulting was at the forefront of one the most impactful application migrations, the Incident Business System which supports the Forest Service and USDA with electronically documenting contracted processes and aviation costs. ROC strategically created a migration plan, designed a modern architecture, and established cloud-native services; then executed to move all data and system resources to the Fed-Ramp Azure Government Cloud Platform. Production was not impacted as parallel environments were built to gracefully move full operations to the newly built cloud platform. The project start to finish was completed in a matter of a few months’ time.
